DISTRIBUTION OF NATURAL GAS BEGINS IN CALAMA

On March 4th, the first LPG vessel arrives at the Quintero Maritime Terminal, where Lipigas has a tank and adjoining facilities for the reception and storage of 25,000 tons.

1950

EMPRESAS LIPIGAS BEGINS TRADING ON THE STOCK EXCHANGE

Empresas Lipigas S.A. successfully completes the placement of 20% of the company's property (22,714,903 shares). With this, the controlling group of Empresas Lipigas -formed by the Santa Cruz, Yaconi, Noguera, Vinagre and Ardizzoni families- maintained control of more than 70% of the company, through direct and indirect ownership.

ACQUISITION OF NEOGAS PERÚ

Empresas Lipigas S.A. takes control of 100% of the operation of Neogas Perú S.A., a company dedicated to the distribution of compressed natural gas (CNG) for industrial customers and service stations for vehicles operating on this fuel.

NEW SUBSIDIARY IN COLOMBIA

Lipigas completes, in Colombia, the creation of the subsidiary Rednova SAS ESP, whose purpose will be the development of the business of the distribution of gas by networks in different municipalities of that country, where since 2010 the company operates through Chilco and its brands GasPaís and Lidergas .

2016

LIPIGAS BEGINS DISTRIBUTION OF NATURAL GAS THROUGH NETWORKS IN THE SOUTH OF CHILE.

After having obtained the respective concessions, installation and gasification of networks, Lipigas started the distribution of natural gas in the communities of Osorno and Puerto Montt, in the Los Lagos Region in Chile.

2017

Lipigas enters the electricity generation

Lipigas enters the electricity generation business with the start-up of the first small-scale DG power plant in Concón, Valparaiso Region, Chile.
